Overview
Ikos Resorts have announced a €520 million investment which includes the opening of 4 brand new properties. This will include the opening in summer 2026 of the Ikos Kissamos, Crete, which will bring the famous ‘Infinite Lifestyle’ to this gorgeous Greek Island for the very first time.
Ikos Kissamos Crete will include approx 400 new rooms, suites and bungalows to the usual Ikos standard. Set within the stunning natural surroundings of Kissamos Bay, Crete, Ikos Kissamos is the first Ikos resort set on the sublime shores of the Cretan Sea.
Ikos Kissamos will open 30th April for the very first time and is nestled on a long stretch of unspoiled sands amid more than 53 acres of lush gardens. An expansive and serene retreat, Ikos Kissamos will feature seven gourmet restaurants with menus crafted by Michelin-starred chefs, along with three al fresco bars offering fine wines and expertly crafted cocktails.
Hotel design is inspired by the island’s rich heritage, this blends bohemian luxury with Mediterranean warmth, while the elegantly appointed suites and villas overlook the azure Aegean waters, lush gardens or private pools.
This is after Ikos Odisia, a five-star luxury resort located on the same bay as sister property Ikos Dassia, in Corfu, opened summer 2023.
With its ambitious investment plan, Sani/Ikos Group aims to contribute to strengthening local communities, combatting unemployment and enhancing the hospitality offering across the Mediterranean.
